How do I fill in the runner's form information?
You must always enter the last six results for each runner. By this we mean the
latest six results that you have for the runner you are entering. If you have less than 6 results, then
just enter the results you have. You must always enter these into Punter's Professional, starting in
the first form box. For example...
If you had "F193D451" in your newspaper, you would enter "93D451" (without the
quotes) into Punter's Professional, stating with the "9" in the first box, and progressing
along. The most recent form result is the one on the right-hand side of the line. The further you move
to the left of this line, the older the results become. When we say the "last 6 results", we
are referring to the last 6 characters on this line.
If you ever encounter a "/" (slash) or a "-" (dash) in the form, just ignore it. These
2 characters are used to denote a "year end" or a "break in racing". You must not enter these into the
form fields of Punter's Professional, just ignore them.

What do I do with this full version patch I have just purchased?
When you complete the online purchase of Punter's Professional, you will be
provided with a link to download the full version patch. This link will also
be made available to you as an e-mail from Element 5 (Shareit).
You need to make sure you click this link and download the full version
patch to your PC. Next follow these steps to make sure you have installed it
all correctly...
1) Install the trial version as normal, and run the program at least
ONCE to intialise the system files.
2) Close the program but do not uninstall the trial, or delete any of
the files associated with it.
3) Run the "ppro_full_patch.exe" file that you downloaded after
purchasing online.
4) Click OK on the welcome screen.
5) Check that the PATH on the next screen is the same path where you
installed the trial to.
6) Once you are happy with the PATH, click UNZIP to install the patch.
You will now have the full version. You can choose to close the
README file that appears.
7) Run Punter's Professional, in the same way that you ran the trial.
It's icon should still be on your Start Menu.

I have had to re-install my PC, and I am having trouble installing
my full version of Punter's Professional. I keep getting "Piracy Protection Error",
what do I do?
Try the following steps to insure you have installed it all correctly...
1) Install the trial version as normal, and run the program at least

2) Close the program but do not uninstall the trial, or delete any of
the files associated with it.
3) Run the "ppro_full_patch.exe" file that you downloaded after
purchasing online.
4) Click OK on the welcome screen.

installed the trial to.
6) Once you are happy with the PATH, click UNZIP to install the patch.
You will now have the full version. You can choose to close the

7) Run Punter's Professional, in the same way that you ran the trial.

What UK racing information sources are best to use with Punter's
Professional?
We always recommend that you use accurate racing information sources. By this, we mean
sources that provide up to date information that has not been altered before it was published.
There are sources which do not provide accurate information (such as "Sporting Life" or
the "Daily Mail"). These sources typically only show you the last 4 form results, even when more
results are available from another source. Other sources alter the form results, e.g. for form result
placements higher than 7th place, the source would change it to be a zero placement. The Punter's
Professional prediction engine relies on accurate information, and it's grading system treats a zero much
worse than an 8 or a 9!
We would recommend using either "The Daily Mirror", "The Sun" or "The Racing Post".
as your information sources.

Can I install Punter's Professional on more than one PC?
If you purchased Punter's Professional in a non-physical form (i.e. not on CD - a Digital Purchase), then
your licence allows you to install it on up to 2 PCs that are owned by yourself, or your family. You are
not allowed to freely distribute the full version to other users that have not already purchased the full
version exclusively from Chris Moses Productions.
If you purchased Punter's Professional on CD ROM (a non-Digital Purchase), then your licence allows you to
install it on up to 3 PCs that are owned by yourself, or your family. You are not allowed to freely distribute
the full version to other users that have not already purchased the full version exclusively from Chris Moses
Productions. Likewise, you are not allowed to make illegal copies of the CD which is protected by copyright

I am having trouble downloading Punter's Professional, what can I do?
Customers who usually have this problem, find that their ISP is causing the broken downloads, by resetting the
connection right in the middle, which disrupts the download 'en route'. Contact your ISP to find out if there
are any current known connection problems.
We could send you the trial by e-mail, however the file is about 3mb in size and might take a while for you to
receive. If your mailbox is not limited to a certain size (less than 3mb), then let me know and it'll be winging it's

How can I get a link to my site, in your links section?
All you would first need to do, is contact us on links@punterspro.com with
the full URL to your web site, a GIF logo image (195 x 40 pixels in size) and a one line description of your site.
We will then check out the site and evaluate whether it should be included in our links section or not. All we ask
is that your site has a "horse racing" theme, that it is not in direct competition with ours (i.e. selling prediction software),
that you put a link on your site, back to ours and that it does not contain adult material. Just let us know, and we'll
see what we can do!

Will I ever be able to obtain daily downloadable UK race cards for use
in Punter's Professional?
Unfortunately, we have already looked into allowing live race card feeds for our customers, and the running costs for this
out stretch our company budget at present. We have no current plans for the forseeable future to include this as a new service.
The astronomical prices that Wetherby's and the BHB charge for licencing and copyright is just too high to cover comfortably at
the moment.
But, please watch this space for future information on this subject...
